Passion for Animal Wellness:
Hi, I’m Katie, a certified animal chiropractor dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for animals through natural, holistic chiropractic care. Growing up on a farm surrounded by animals, my love for them has always been at the core of what I do. Whether it's helping a dog regain mobility, assisting a horse in overcoming pain, or providing ongoing care for a beloved pet, I believe that every animal deserves to move freely and live without discomfort.
Education and Certification:
I hold a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic (Human chiropractic degree!) from Murdoch University and have completed specialized training in animal chiropractic care from Backbone Academy of Vetrinary Chiropractic and Healing Arts. My approach is based on years of experience and a deep understanding of animal anatomy and biomechanics to ensure that your pet receives the safest, most effective care possible.
Experience and Expertise:
Over the years, I have worked with a wide variety of animals, from small pets like cats and dogs to larger animals such as horses and livestock. Each animal is unique, and I tailor my chiropractic techniques to their individual needs—whether they’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply looking to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.
My Approach:
I take a gentle, compassionate approach to chiropractic care, making sure that every adjustment is comfortable for the animal. By focusing on spinal alignment, joint health, and nervous system function, I help animals move better, feel better, and live happier lives.
Why I Do What I Do:
I’ve always believed that animals, like people, benefit greatly from hands-on care that respects the body’s natural ability to heal. Seeing the difference chiropractic adjustments can make—whether it’s a dog that can walk pain-free again or a horse that performs at its best—drives my passion every day. My goal is not only to treat symptoms but to enhance the overall health and well-being of every animal I work with.
When I'm Not Working:
When I'm not providing chiropractic care to humans or animals, I enjoy spending time with my own pets, my partner Andrew, hanging out with friends, travelling and getting back to the family farm.
